A cable veteran for the past 32 years, Joel spent the majority of his career on the operations side of the business. He is currently self employed as a Manufacturer's Representative working with Vision Corp East Inc. He has been a member of SCTE for most of his career and is now a proud member of the Chesapeake Chapter. |
Paul Prescott |
Paul has been in the Telecommunications Industry for 19 years. He has been involed in sales with CommScope for the past 19 years and has worked in the Broadband, OSP and Telco divisions. Paul is currently the CommScope Senior Sales Manager for Broadband in the Mid-Atlantic Region. He has been a member of SCTE most of his career. He has served as a board member, Treasurer and currently serves as Vice President of the Chesapeake Chapter. |

Tom Lewis |
Tom has been in the Telecommunications industry for 38 years. He spent 25 years with Bell Atlantic/Verizon and worked in numerous capacities from Lineman to Cable Splicer and Operations Manager. He also was responsible for product evaluation and selection for Copper and Fiber Optics until his retirement in 1996 at which time he joined Radiant Communications and currently serves as Vice President of Sales Cable Telecommunications. Tom has served the Chesapeake Chapter as President in 2006 and secretary for the past 3 years. Tom is also a council member of Gerson Lehrman Group's Tech Media Telecom Council. |
Jeff Seese

Jeff Seese has served as the Director of Advanced Digital Services for Comcast's Beltway Region since 2006 and has been working in the telecommunications industry for over a decade. With Comcast, Jeff is responsible for the deployment and operations of new IP based technologies and voice consumer products over the Comcast infrasructure. Prior to joining Comcast's regional team, he worked in the corporate and divisional offices integrating the various vendors and technologies into a fully supportable digital voice product. Early in his career, Jeff assimilated cable and traditional telephony skills as a manager with Accenture's Communications and High Tech practice. |

Sharon Barber |
Sharon has been with Comcast since 1985. She has held numerous positions during this time from telemarketing, customer service, to Dispatch Manager, and for the past 6+ years Safety/Damage Prevention Manager. She has served the Chesapeake Chapter as Secretary for 3 years, Second and First Vice President for two years and is currently serving as President. |
Katie Blum |
Katie entered the Telecommunications industry in 1985 working for Antronix until 2002, where she held various positions ranging from Territorial sales, MSO Manager, to VP of Sales. She joined ICM Corporation in May of 2002 as their Eastern Divisional Sales Manager, with corporate and sales responsibilities for the entire East Coast. Katie has served the Chesapeake Chapter as Treasurer for the past year. |
Paul Clar |
Paul has been with Montgomery County now (Comcast) since 1991. He has held a variety of positions including service tech, leakage tech, installation supervisor, and currently headend tech. Paul is also NCTI-Certified Master Tech and holds a Certificate in Broadband Technical Management |

Mick Jolly |
Mick has been in the industry for 17 years and has held several technical positions. In 1988 He started as an in-house installer and progressed to Service Technician, Line Technician, Lead Line Technician, Upgrade Construction Supervisor, Technical Manager and on to his current position as Sr. Technical Operations Manager. He has been a member of the SCTE for eight years and has served on the board of the Chesapeake Chapter for five. During this time he has held positions as Secretary, Treasurer and currently serving as Vice President. As a result of the society Mick has increased his knowledge through meetings/certifications and has built many relationships throughout the industry. |
